Albert Vera’s plan will secure Culver City’s future.
Taking on Homelessness
Albert spearheaded the push to create Culver City’s new Safe Sleep Site, eliminate unsafe and unsanitary homeless encampments and get people off the streets. His plan includes connecting unhoused individuals and families will the resources they need, including mental health services.
Increase Affordable Housing
A longtime affordable housing advocate, Albert will push for affordable units that enable our children and grandchildren to remain here in Culver City instead of having to leave the city they love in search of a home they can afford.
Fixing Downtown
Albert voted to change the MOVE Culver City pilot project that has snarled traffic and had a severe negative impact on our Downtown businesses. He will push for changes that not only promote mobility and encourage the use of public transit and cycling; but also address the concerns of residents and business owners regarding traffic congestion and access to local businesses and neighborhoods.
Public Safety
Albert will support efforts to make sure our first responders have the tools and resources they need to keep our community safe and reduce emergency response times.
